Viruses

In cases of viral infections, additional viral strains can be transmitted alongside the primary infection, potentially leading to further co-infections. These co-infections may arise from different viral species, resulting in an overall complex situation. Particularly in cases of chronic infections, dormant viruses in the body can be reactivated, a phenomenon known as 'Opportunistic Infections.'

These opportunistic infections can further suppress the immune system and complicate treatment.
